Colicaid 15ML drops is an antispasmodic medicine used in babies, children and adults as an anti-flatulent. It is used to relieve sharp and localized pain called colicky pains like intestinal colic, caused by excess gas in the stomach and intestines. Colicky pain starts and stops abruptly mainly due to muscle contractions of hollow organs such as intestines, rectum, gallbladder and ureter due to obstruction by forcing content out. It prevents sudden spasm of muscles to relieve cramps and stomach pain. However, the uses mentioned here are not comprehensive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.
